There are three genera I can see maybe using them with: Hysterocrates, Theraphosa, and Xenethis, and that's because all three like a moist environment, and I still consider it more of risk than it's probably worth. Too much moisture promotes all kinds of problems, even tropical forest species do fine with just a slightly moist substrate and relatively low humidity.
Your tarantula can always go to the water dish and hydrate itself if you're keeping it on the dry side for its preferences. Keep it too wet and what does it do besides develp a fungal infection and die on you?
