Update:

My immanis hooked out and I attempted to get some crappy shots;



which resulted in some very minor hairkicking... which resulted in some not so minor hives;



Nerri, that doll, sent some proection which arrived just today. Of course, I tried them on too late... ;)



I swear, when this guy breeds... I don't think I want any of the slings back!!!

Well... maybe just a few. ;)

Yikes...that doesn't look fun.

I got a face-ful of B. boehmei hairs last week....subsequently my collection now consists of 90% Old Worlders lol.

for some reasion, the hairs dont bother me at all.
even had them fliked in my face once, and no afect at all

i allso raised posin ivy for some time and handled it with bear hands, agin no efect on me so maby its just me?

All four of my T's are NW. So far, I haven't had any real problems. I rehoused three of them and cleaned the enclosure of the forth last week. Two of them flicked hars at me....no welts or anything. Maybe they missed!:)

Well every NW I've handled didn't make me itch at all. Maybe I'm just lucky :)

I was given a one year grace period. It has now been 18 months of keeping them and the last time I got hit, I broke out in red bumps all over my forearms, arm pits, rib cage and stomach. Prior to that break out, the worst was spots on my fingers.

I haven't gotten hives from them yet though. . .

heh, im one of the few lucky ones who are immune to the hairs. i handle exuviums that are very fresh with impunity :p
