Does anyone know if it’s safe to use aspen wood chips with scorpions? i’m not using it as substrate, i have some scorplings and i’m wondering if i can use it for them to climb and molt off of since they are bark scorpions. it’s aspen shavings used for snake bedding.

I could see using that in a dry enclosure, I wonder if aspen will mold in a more humid enclosure.

In arid/desert setups I wouldn't see any problems with it, I just wouldn't use it as the main substrate. Plus it can give crickets/roaches more places to hide.
More of a leaf litter type deal, like when bark is mixed in with coco and such. You're only using it as a molting platform as you said so there should be no issue.
I just wouldn't use it for humid setups as it can mold and harbor mites.
