Hey guys! Long term tarantula owner, newbie crested gecko owner.

That being said, I purchased some A. granulatum to go in my vivarium along with some dwarf white isopods for my new crested gecko, but later found out that cresties can get impacted by feeding on hard-shelled creatures.

I'm wondering, will these guys pose a risk to my crested gecko in this way? No guarantee that he'll eat them, but since he's a juvenile and I want to be on the safe side, i'd like some feedback and insight on the matter.

I only threw in maybe 6-8, so there's still time for me to hunt them down if this is the case hahaha.

Picture of my little dude. <3

He should be fine! Both of my geckos used to eat isopods (i offered them alongside worms/crickets), but nowadays they turn their nose up at them. I think it’s the taste. In any case, granulatum are a great choice for a cleanup crew alongside dwarf whites! They’re one of my favorite sp.
