No it doesn’t have the emboli on the pedipalps. It could be an immature male or just a female, which is what I’m leaning to (not sure since I don’t keep this species).
Another thing to bear in mind is that all desert t's are 'gorge/fast' types that eat like pigs for a short while, then fast for months on end. Chile roses are a case in point. Mexican 'desert' Brachy's don't count because they're steppe/pampas t's rather than true desert, therefore they eat more regularly.
