Searched both Google and here already, didn’t see the answer to my question, so posting here.

Are either the Cyriocosmus bertae or C. aueri “formerly called” the other name?

I’m struggling to decide between the two, but now am wondering f they are the same species but name has changed?

@korg Can you weigh in on any differences in temperament or proneness to defense vs flight? I’m having trouble deciding between the two, and can only buy one at the moment.

Can't speak to that directly, but I'd imagine there's just as much variation between individuals as there is between those two species. Cyriocosmus aueri is a relatively new species to science and less common in the hobby, if that means anything!
