Are Samar cave tarantulas (sel. Samarae) rare in the hobby?

Just got a teeny tiny Samar sling with my order from netbug. Can't find them for sale anywhere, even on anastasias's site. Are they rare?

Do you mean Selenocosmia samarae?

If thats you using common name I doubt you will find anything.

I would guess setup similar to Orphnaecus sp.

Lol sorry. I read the post completely wrong.

I havent seen them offered. They may well be rare or just no recent breedings.

You used an abbreviation of the genus. Sel. is less vague than S. wouldve been, but there are still at least two different genera that start with Sel. If he hadnt known, i couldnt have guessed it without google finishing it for me.

There's a lot of upcoming species coming here that were found high-up in trees (specimens were 11 meters off the ground) in the southern region of the country where terrorism and civil unrest abound so chances for a better research is slim for now. (c)
