Aphono Sp. Carlsbad Green-Change is good!

My little carlsbad green molted and I must say, change is sometimes good!
The dark legs do seem to suit her! I was at work when the molt happened and my son called to tell me and said that fresh post molt, the legs actually looked blue!

She actually increased in size quite a bit, just need to fatten her back up!

Very nice looking T. ! I agree, in my opinion the Aphonopelma species though not brightly colored, do not get the recognition they deserve.

I could not agree more Jeff! You really can't beat their disposition either. I have never seen a threat pose from any of my aphono's. I guess I better keep'em away from my P.Murinus so they don't pick up any bad habits!

They are my favorite genus of T's. I love my A. behlei and A. hentzi.

Most of my Ts are Aphonos. I just love them! They are so underrated...
