Looks like I’m back in the hobby! I’m still kicking myself for letting go of the tarantulas I had previously, but here’s to sticking to the hobby for the long run! This time I’ll only be focusing on mainly large NW (Pamphos, Theraphosa, Phormictopus, etc.).

Obtained two T’s the other day:

0.1 Pamphobeteus sp. platyomma 2.5-3”

0.0.1 Brachypelma vagans 1”

Just received my next batch of slings! Only two of the six slings actually came out of their vials tho, so here are some photos of them:

Pamphobeteus sp. ‘flammifera’ - can only see its abdomen, it quickly darted into the burrow I premade for it.

Pamphobeteus sp. ‘magna’ - with and without flash

It’s only been twenty or so minutes and I’ve already fallen in love with these little girls (maybe if I keep calling them girls they’ll all end up female?)

Stay tuned for what the other four are!

0.0.5 Phormictopus sp. ‘blue’
Here’s a photo of one for now, will be getting the hides in today (shipping via amazon) and need to rewash some of the bottle caps for them. Currently they look just like your average Phormictopus.

Some updates:

0.0.1 Suspect male Pamphobeteus sp. magna, love the colors on this one even though it molted today. Much darker than the other Pamphos I have (not including the antinous). I’d say it’s almost 2”
2F176F09-A367-4B79-A19B-9A4CDE861CE1.jpeg

0.1 Pamphobeteus sp. platyomma, molted yesterday. Love the colorations on her, the pink on her carapace is amazing
208392DD-0ACD-49ED-91A7-F709B5523C9F.jpeg

0.0.1 Pamphobeteus cf. antinous, has been reaching and grabbing for the food, yet it never wants to eat. Hopefully this means it’s in premolt.

0.0.1 Brachypelma vagans, fresh new colors on this one, love how it seems almost blue after it had molted earlier this week.

Is the Pamphobeteus platyomma going to get more colorful? Right now I love the highlights on her carapace. T’s with color are my favorites:)

She will a bit, but then when she matures she’ll turn to brownish color

0.0.1 Phormictopus sp. ‘blue’ #3

Can’t wait for them to put on size. They retain their blue coloration all their life and it’ll be great to have. 7” blue spider!

I’m actually hoping it’s a ‘her’ ;)
But my gf names all of them, I just go by the scientific name haha
