I have a third instar C.exilicauda that I just went to feed as part of our weekly feeding. Since we are using full-sized crix this week, I just ripped the head off one and chucked it in. As part of its death reflex, the cricket spread its wings. Anyhow, the C.exilicauda comes up to the wing first, investigates and then tugs on it hard enough to move the whole carcass slightly. I took some pics of this very ambitious scorpion but thought I'd share immediately.
Cheers,
Dave
