It's not often I see her. Actually this is the first time she's out since I bought her, and that was about 6 months ago. Could it be a Stasimopus robertsi?

This one is about 2,5" and I guess it won't grow much more. i have another one, a black specimen that seems to be and adult as wel but it's much smaller.

The Tanzanian red trapdoor spider belongs to the Idiopidae

Might be a Gorgyrella species according to some ;-)

Best regards

how is their venom ? same as T'

Worse. The bite isn't life-threatening, but would involve severe pain and swelling, as well as nausea, vomiting, and other unpleasant effects.

Unknown, Recently bought labeled as "black trapdoor spider" haven't gotten around to taking pictures [haven't wanted to disaturb it] but I've seen matching pictures will look more into it.
