Hi all,
As you may or may not know, I’m bredding widow spiders. Anyway, one of my females laid a defective sac persay. The sac was more crescent shaped than spherical, and ended up having a hole in it. Inevitably, some eggs spilled out, and I thought nothing of it and didn’t expect it to survive. Today, I found that the eggs have hatched to the eggs with legs stage, and even more amazingly, the eggs that fell out did also. It looks like the spiderlings are alive also, and may survive. I think these eggs are hardier than we give credit for.
