Hey all, I was wondering if anyone could tell me the difference between A. mauritanicus and A. crassicauda (dark color form). I did a search and found some very good detailed pics of the two. The scorp I just got has the tail characteristics of crassicauda and was sold to me as such. However in the pics the sting appears to be a brownish color with little or no granulations and chela appear to be shiny. The sting on my scorpion is really granulated and dull black. and the chela are not shiny but dull black as well. Thanks.
Darrell.

The guys who know this species will would be able to give you a quick ID if you post a couple of good pictures.

Nice scorps anyway.
