2" p. Metallica enclosure

Hey I just got these containers wondering if they are a bit too big? I like that they have the hatch opening as well so I don't have to open the whole thing every time.

Not much in the picture that gives size references. That being said Pokies are great hunters and will do OK in a larger than normal container which means less rehousing for you.

even if the cage is too big, a pokie will grow into it soon enough.

If you can kinda tell from the slats of the porch. I'd say it's 7" by 6" Maybe bigger. I got them from wegmans

I seen that but couldnt tell if they were 2 x4, 2x6, or 2x8's
If your P. metallica is actually 2" then i would personally go for taller. One it will be good to go in for a last home since metallica's get about 6"
my 2.5" sling went from a 4 x 8" cylinder to a 2.5 gallon tank on its side and has done just fine
