I purchased this aquarium for $13.00 and it’s perfect for a juvenile or small adult. After drilling some ventilation holes it was ready. Comes with a battery powered LED light that has 8 different color options and it has different cycle modes. Great cheap terantula tank, my juvinille p. Metallica just might find there way into this guy! Haha

If you watch you can find used ones on your local CL adds for $5 ;) I have snagged many small acrylic tanks that way.

    its a 1 gallon tank I would say it’s 10 inches tall 10 wide and it’s a pentagon shape.

Question: if you used the red LED at night could you use it to observe one of the shy/nocturnal tarantulas?

Don't see why not ;) They can't see or detect red light to my knowledge, so using it at night would be the same as it being dark :D

Also to the op, looks fantastic! May need to deck one of those out myself :hungry:

    That looks great!
I use the acrylic self cleaning tanks for my smaller scorpions, they are basically a false bottom tank already. They're about 5"×5"×10". I will be using them for appropriate sized tarantula slings too, being Australian I can only get our burrowing species.
