I can definatley relate with you on this and you have my sympathies.
My first pede died the day before yours. Same thing, just flipped over and died.
I also had only had mine a couple of weeks so i know how you feel.
Hope your feeling better now.
If you want some Hypoaspis miles in the UK, i was given this link by someone on another board:
http://www.defenders.co.uk/pest-solutions/biological-sciarid-fly-control.html
Leave a small child tied up in the centre of your room, when the obt comes out to feed... whack it with a crowbar {D
Seriously though, be thorough and systematic.
Start in the area nearest the container and search all the little nooks and crannies. Once your 100% happy the area is clear...
On the subject of humidity gauges...
when i first got into the hobby i decided i needed a stick on gauge for my tank.
I walked into the shop where they had 5 on the shelf. I noticed that although they were next to each other, all 5 had different readings (some massively).
I walked out and...
Two of the better ones for scoprions in the UK that i use are:
http://www.thespidershop.co.uk
http://www.virginiacheeseman.co.uk/
Both get a good variety of species in from time to time so it pays to keep an eye on both of them.
I think i ordered mine about the same time as you. I got the hard bound copy and i'm pretty impressed with it :)
Came in a padded jiffy bag and the price included the postage.
My emp dug a burrow in her tank about 2 months ago and thats about the last i saw of her
I see the claws every now and then so i know shes hungry, but apart from that she stays hidden away.
I am deeply sorry for your loss.
I was amazed when i first read this thread and really hoped she would pull through the next moult.
It must have been terrible for you, especially how close you must have got to her through the hand feeding.

There is an online shop in the UK selling them with this info on them:
http://the-invertebrate-shop.vstore.ca/product_info.php/pName/olivekeeled-flat-rock-hadogenes-paucidens-11cm/cName/scorpions
Hope it helps

Excellent article, thanks for the link :)
I have never seen my P. imp sting it's prey, but my H. arizonensis stings each catch at least once before feeding. In most cases he stings up to 2 or 3 times before attempting to eat his crickets.

Cheers for the link Dave,
Anyone ordered from them before? Just wondering what the quality is like as from the FAQ it looks like it is basically a photocopy.
Glenn
Where can you get it from?
There is 1 USED copy on amazon.co.uk, and its on at a rather reasonable (lol) £321.23
at todays exchange rate that'll be $629.48
.... and don't forget the postage on that!
I'd love a copy but it's a little out of my price range at the moment.
