Heh, exactly the same happened with my sub-adult B.smithi a few weeks ago. He was just chilling in his hide when I wanted to remove some cricket boluses. Before I knew he flashed out of his lair, trying to bite the tongs. I have to say though that he's more skittish than the average smithi.
