    Mine can be picky as well. My tried and true method is to smush a cricket or two into a ball and leave it near the it. It almost always accepts food this way.

    Be sure to have a very secure lid, otherwise you will find dried up leeches in some strange places.

    My girlfriend attended the red deer reptile show In Alberta, canada today. This scolopendra (gigantea) I believe(she didn't grab the Latin name) was asking $700CAD. Crazyness.

    What is going on with these Australian walking stick insects??

    The males do fly! You are lucky to have one! They can reproduce through parthenogenesis, but the hatch rate will be many times higher with a male in the crowd. Loved my time working with these, enjoy :).
