How big are your specimens? There exists sexual dimorphism, but I'm trying to remember if that's only when males mature... I don't fully recall, this genus was never a strong point for me.
I have, however, heard of G. rosea sacs having both RCF and NCF in them. Were both parents the same "form"?
What is the temperature in her cage?
When was the last time she molted?
What is the humidity like? (I see from the picture the substrate appears to be pretty moist, so that may not be the issue).
I'm assuming she is still eating in a regular fashion?
The more information given, the more...
I have had a rosea do this before, a small female. She would make a web, flip, and then do nothing; and after about a week of doing this, she stopped and resumed normal behavior.
I always labeled my Tarantulas with scientific names.
I never named too many of them.. but there were, at one point, seven tarantulas that I named after the "seven deadly sins", because the name fit their "personality".
The greatest thing to have in the tarantula hobby is patience.
I had seen this species come and go several times while I was in the hobby. It will come around again.

Subfusca vs Metallica, always a personal preference decision. I don't necessarily think one is better than the other, but I do like subfusca a lot, I will say...
Here's how I see it:
P metallica - average $175 per sling
P subfusca - average $75 per sling
P striata or P regalis - average...
Congrats!
Very cool species. Too bad they are itchy, or I would be on the boat and say "count me in for some". :o
Hopefully they'll be viable and hatch successfully. Your battle is half won.
It's either Paraphysa sp, or Euathlus sp... The mirror patch and the red patch around the pedicel are dead give-aways.
I'm wanting to lean towards Paraphysa sp., though.
I certainly like to hope I have been helpful, at least in some respects. :)
(In the watering hole, I'm a little more aggressive. right Abra? ;) )
I agree with Fran. There is no getting rid of your account. Just hit the "X" button and never return; it's the easiest solution and is right...
Heck yeah, score one for the locals!
You are more than welcome to keep me in mind when they hatch. I don't do much with spiders now-a-days, but that's not to say I won't ever again.. :)
