What do you prefer: raising T's from slings or buying T's full grown?opinions?

My first 2 Ts where adults, or maybe "subadults". But now only go with slings, the most fun about Ts are to see them growing up. I now have about 40 slings (1/4"-1") to dismember crickets for. *rip*,*tear*,*chop* ;P

    The joy of feeding slings....

It was a friend to the dealer that prepared the package and he made a mistake packing emilias instead of smithis.

    The joy of feeding slings....

As you now I have been buggin' you all with info of all my new ones (the "New arrivals" thread, it was emilias by the way) Well, yesterday was feeding day, and man it took some time to prepare and serve the food to them all. I cannot imagine the time it would take to feed 500+ slings that some...

    grumpy rosea

IMHO no behavior is weird when it comes to roseas and a fasting period of 5 month is nothing out of the ordinary (mine refused food 10-12 month prior to her last molt). I keep mine on 100% peat moss, and have changed it a few times. It takes a while for her to settle on the new peat, eg. she...

New arrivals, I'm occupied this winter for sure!

I mentioned in a thread a couple weeks that I ordered 28 slings and yesterday they arrived. But they weren’t 28, got 9 freebies so the counter stopped at 37. Hum, and I had 11 two days ago :D Well, I know there are people here who got hundreds, if not thousands Ts but to me 37 is allot...

    Here's a rare sight...

... to me anyway. My OBT is often out in the open, scouting for prey I suppose. But I have never seen her taking a drink before, I'm just glad all my troubles keeping the waterbowl clean and in an upright position isn't all in vain :)

    H. Incei, cricket gluttony!!!

Nah, eh, well, just 1 cricket, or more like 2 halves... Mm, I must admit that I'm finding her just a little bit repulsing, I'm not to fond of to fat butts. But it might be ok with some babyfat, right? :D

    Fastest growers

I think Avic's can be removed from the list... They might grow relatively fast but nothing like Parahybanas or Blondis.
