Actually one of the little females you are getting popped me yesterday Nate. I barely noticed it... and I sent you the link to that pic bro,it was online. I will take a pic of the trio you are getting and send it to you
Hey joe,I told you last night what I would do. I hate that all this happened.Like I said I have never found a T more than 10 foot away from the escape point. I use a large rubbermaid tub to do my transfers, and packing. That OBT was actually quite calm compared to some I have. I hate it all...
All I can say is welcome to the world of owning a ferret!:D I have 2 and they both are the same way.I have learned to keep anything important put up,and I keep my inverts in a closed room that they can not get in.
Yeah a friend of mine had a 3 foot boa get its head chewed by a medium rat.The rat literately chewed through the skull. My friend was stupid and pitched it in and went shopping, and came home to find a very fat rat:wall:
Hottentotta Hottentotta can become parthenogenic, but there are males in the wild.It is rare to see them in the trade. Most Hottentotta require males to breed. There are many species that dont require males at all,so all are female and just produce young at a certain stage of life.
I have had 2 obt's escape and none of them wandered for more than ten feet. They are not a wandering species. It will be onder something,or in a crack in something near the floor. If it was near a fridege, its there.I found both mine under my dresser in between two books. Set it a few hiodes in...
I kept hissers and discoids together for 2 years, and both did just fine and was actually breeding better! They coexisted nicely! I say go for it,it wont hurt!
I would think it still needs some supplemental food, maybe start him by topping his food with meat.I have never been able to get a cat to eat raw meat I offered...thats why i like my dog!! She will eat ANYTHING!!
