Greetings all. My B. albopilosum female just molted and I noticed something odd. The abdomen seems to be misshapen. Have a look:
That is a picture from straight above her, face first in the water dish. Is it due to her still soft exo, or possibly a bad molt? Is it anything to worry about...
Yeah she laid a mat down and a 'defensive' web with hairs in it right around there. Was pretty awesome to watch. Here she is, still in the dish. I want to give her water but I don't want to disturb her.
Or he could be sharing a cool video he made, and since its just a video, I doubt it'd fall under the rules posted. Lighten up.

My G. rosea went for 2 years without eating. I got her Fathers Day '06, she ate until October of that year, then steadfastly refused food for two years, until she molted on 11/03/08. She still drank, and was active, but she would not touch a cricket, a roach, a pinky, nothing. She's now eating...
Cancer, I'm not too sure. I do know that both of my boys are almost 7 years old, and while one has an adrenal gland issue, he's being medicated for it and otherwise is as healthy as a horse.
Keep in mind that most ferrets in US pet stores come from Marshall Farms, who descents and spays/neuters their ferrets before they send them out. You can tell if your furro is from Marshall if they have two little dots tattooed on their (I believe) right ear.
Thanks for all the help guys. I know at some point in the future I'll be keeping plenty of these tinier guys, so any and all advice is much appreciated. I'll lean towards the drier side from here on out.
