i have been bitten by a dubia. it surprised me but its not unbearable ;P

they're colors tend to vary from black to a light tan. i believe it is based on housing and diet more than anything.

get a colony of dermestid beetles going. they might not be the most aggresive but they surely are one of the most gruesome bugs there is.
