Interesting!
I did not know poeple suffured that much from urticating hairs. I never had an itch from my NW (have them for about 3 years?). The only itch I have is when I put my hand in my cricket container. Aaaahh. My skin is reacting badly to them.
Can you developp intolerance to...
I dont remember intrucing myself ever, here I am. Sorry about the bad pic, just took it before bed after washing / brushing teeth etc. Should have done the same thing with the mirror :8o

Hi,
I have a little colonie (of 5 Holothele incei) together. They must be 3rd instar. I really like them, they are fun to watch. You put a dead adult cricket in their tank and watch the gang eat the cricket together.
They will stay moderate size. They are fast, they web and dig a little...
Best way would be a communal tank of Avicularia Avicularia. You would have all the babies you can dream of, without doing anything much.
Plus, they dont make an eggsac of a thousand little monsters {D
Finaly, they are the sweetest.
I am glad you got rid of them.
I had mites twice. Once with my T's (white mites). Just changed everything, kept bone dry for a month and that was it.
And mites with my snakes. They are brown-black and bigger.
Lots of you people forget what it is to be passionnated about something... And in is case, he is.
Everyone that follows there passions that way, I am happy, and cheers up!
He could have waited, but I guess some people dont know what it is to be passionated about something.... Thought there...
Hi,
I have a communal tank: A.Avic living together for a long time now. about 20 gals for 4 of them (adults).
When they are babies / juvi there is no problems (I think the A.Avic are the most gentle T's around, and seeing them living together reinforced my opinion). But when they become...
Hi!
I have a huge one I bough, second hand. It houses 4 A.Avic together. The only thing I dislike about it, is that it have holes on the top back corners (to slide mealworms in it i think). The problem with it is that the crickets gonna reaches the top of the terra, then will go out by these...
Hi,
I looked at the post :
http://www.arachnoboards.com/ab/showthread.php?t=17496
I am not sure if I need to put the whole eggsac on the paper towel or you need to open the eggsac, put the healthy eggs with legs on the paper towel.
I removed the egg from the mother (A.Avic) today, she...
Hello, any advice would be greatly appreciated!
One of my A.Avic molted a week ago, he seemed fine (mature male now). But today i looked at him and saw him in a death curl, and lost a lot of blood from a broken leg (the leg is still attached to him, but all twisted and broken for good :( )...
Hi,
I use Crickets as feeders for my tarantulas. When I feed my spiders, sometimes one of the crickets will escape in my room. And most of the times I cant catch the little bugger :(
I was wondering if I could have a cricket infestation in my house, because of the crickets that gets...
1 - L.Parahybana
-Not- because of their size.
If you have the chance to get this T's from a sling, you will notice all his behavior change from each molt. Mine went from a little crybaby who wont come out of his hide to a 'im sitting in the open and I aint scared of nuthing'.
I know...
The Montreal insectarium is nice.
A lot of live phasme (not sure of the english word for phasme, the stick bugs).
They must have around 10 T's.
two adult female B.Smithi, adult P.Regalis, A.Versicolor. etc.
Nothing extraordinary.
I did not always agreed with the set-up they made...
We dont have any petsco nor petsmart here. And after reading all of the above, I am happy. Of course I pay a lot more for everything at my local petstore. But they keep great care of their T's. The poeple that take cares of them (and snakes etc) knows what they are talking about. They remembered...
Mine is arboreal, but she decided to bring all the dirt from the ground into her web. She made web tunnels made mostly of dirt, up in the air!
I called her Dirty, because her place is so... dirty!
If i understand right, The male pachypus lose their fat legs at their final molt?
Or is it the male will never have fat legs... I had never heard anything that only the female had fat legs. (fat legs = hairy legs IV)
Hmmm...
