Where can I find this Hamster Tarantula.. new species perhaps??
I would also recommend a G aureostriata.. fantastic and even tempered USUALLY.. just never forget that its not tame, and it may or may not want to be bothered on any given day. Also remember that a T that big will make a really...
Depending on the size of the sling you should see a mostly regenerated if not a fully regenerated limb within a molt. Ive had adults reproduce a limb with one molt, and Ive had adults that have taken two or more, but slings have always seemed to make new ones faster.
All but one of mine is housed with peat moss. ( 1 with succulent mix ). Some of my youngsters have burrows so extensive that they resemble condos with front, back, and side doors... webbed of course...
He could last a year, or he could be gone tomorrow... sorry if thats not very helpful, but it varies so much its not even funny. Ive had males that were alive a rediculous amount of time and males that were gone in a matter of months. If hes building a sperm web you might want to try to find him...
I had lots of pictures of it but with the amount of space I am allowed as a normal user, I had to remove some of them. Thanks for your concern with my tarantula, however, it is indeed an E campestratus. I myself went through the questions when I first got him. The coloring is light and thats...
I agree... fantastic freebie.. mine are larger than your little one, but I have to add.. they all have wonderful set-ups filled with plants and "trees"... and they all have burrowed.. so if yours ends up being as odd as mine, make sure you have enough substrate for it to hide in. Its not...
We had a G aureostriata here that also had a VERY long life after his ultimate molt some time during the spring of 2004. He was sent out to breed, survived and was sent back to us and finally passed on to the big web in the sky early this year. At the begining he did tons of drumming, but over...
This one was tougher.. but I would have to say P cambridgei.. love the fuzzy lil buggers.. started with one and I cant stop.. cant imagine NOT having one anymore..
At the very end of the initial thread.. the comment is that hes shooting for a range of six to eight or even ten to fifteen years.. Logical if you want to establish a strong reproductive " line" for lack of a better term. However, realistically speaking, that far down the road you dont know...
E uataman.. I have two of these.. this is the only one that will actually come out of its hide. Both are about an inch and a half, pushing two inches.. cant wait for adult colors... one from Mr. Botar, the other from Mr. Beard..
This is the male here on loan from Scorpdemon for my C fasciatum ( or whatever they are calling it now ). Hes actually getting ready to redestroy her web. He tore it down a couple days ago and she rebuilt it, and now hes looking for some more lovins. She is barely visable behind him on the other...
