    Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens dead

Thank you for the insight awiec and krog. I thought she was going into pre molt so I didn't think anything of it. Now I wish I did take a closer look at her. I should have taken pictures of what I found, best way I could describe it would be that the mass/ball was the size of a small ball...

    Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens dead

A while ago my favorite tarantula had died. A few days later I decided to dissect her and I was a little disturbed at what I found. Initially I noticed her abdomen was plump but once I opened her up I noticed that she was backed up with a lot of poop. I found a dark brown ball/mass that was very...

    Whats happening to the Toads?

Yeah, sounds like it was from the heat. Even with my toads (that I locally caught), if I take them out from under neath the bark they hide during the day to clean or whatever, they will always go right back under or anywhere its dark.

    singapore blue doing constuction

Cool, I love watching my t's dig and stuff. My n.Chromatus is a strange one though, everytime I dampen the soil in its tank he plays with it and beats on the ground. I should get a vid of that.

Pede that doesn't need alot of humdity?

I've been thinking about getting a pede lately. I'm looking for one that doesn't require a lot of humidty and isn't very small. I like the fact that I can leave my tarantulas for a week or more (vacation, trips, etc) without having to worry about them, so long as the water dish is full and I...

    Fishing spider , egg sack?

Thanks for the info guys. I never really over fed her, usually 1 cricket big enough for her once every 1 - 1.5 weeks. I noticed her getting fat even though I didn't feed her, thought maybe she was going to molt. Hopefully I can find a male, but these spiders are hard to find around here, I...

    Fishing spider , egg sack?

Hey just wondering I noticed my fishing spider laid an egg sac tonight, but she has never mated since I've had her ( since she was about an 1 inch). Is this some false egg sac? Does this happen often? thanks.
