I created an egg box for my female iguana out of two cat litter boxes. I put one on top of the other, clamped them together and then cut a hole in the top of one. I filled it about 1/2 to 2/3 full of soil and kept it damp. My ig always used this box when she was ready to lay her eggs...
Not totally convinced I like Bozeman. I've only been here a little more than a year. It is beautiful here though. I like Helena and would move there in a heartbeat. I will let you keep the hunting and fishing and I will keep the incredible skiing and hiking. :)
Maybe they are ill tempered because they are in northeast Montana.{D
I am in southwestern Montana and have seen them several times during mountain hikes during the day. Fortunately none of them have messed with me, but have definitely kept their eyes on me.
I believe they were hunting. The first time I saw them, there were two and they were chasing after the squirrels. I saw one on easter sunday and he was just out walking around, so I am not certain what he was up to.
Still looking through my pictures. I really need to organize them better.
When my dog was a puppy he was the worst chewer. Expecially my very expensive shoes, dvds, well anything really. I found that making sure he had a lot of chew toys like kongs and bully chews was the key. My breeder recommended that I get him a saddle blanket, wash it really good (took about...
I have been lucky enough to have seen several badgers in the past year. It has been in the late afternoon - early evening. Everyone I have seen has been in very rocky areas close to a slope in the mountain. I will have to try and find my pictures. They were a lot bigger than I expected.
My dog was skunked a few years back and my vet gave me a great recipe to take care of it.
1 16 oz.bottle of hydrogen peroxide, 1 cup baking soda and 1 tablespoon of dawn dish soap.
It worked great on my dog.
Edit: If your dog has sensitive skin I would try vinegar and dish soap.

and here is a current one of my Belgian Malinois, Thorn with his close up.
Gene - what a cute dog. why didn't he/she make mention in your dog appreciation thread? definitely worthy.
My neighbor has the cutest little character. she saved him from being put down due to the fact that he had a cleft palate.
I believe you are correct nightbreed. They definitely were brought about for their intelligence, guarding abilities and loyalty.

I think that's great. Growing up in the North West that is something that is very common. You can't go to a shooting range here in Montana without seeing several children with their parents out practicing.
I totally agree with Cire. The B.albopilosums are great Ts to have in a collection. Great eaters, mine has never refused food and eats with gusto. They are beautiful in their own right with their big chunky and hairy look.
Finally got a decent shot of my beastly G.rosea. So she isn't as quite as big as I thought she was, but I would say not by much. We couldn't get her to stretch out any farther than what she is. Would you consider her on the larger side for a G.rosea or average?
I know some people have had success with finding escappees by putting a damp towel down on the floor in a pile and checking it every so often. I would think that this might work with a T.blondi. At this point anything is worth a try. Hope you find it.
Update
I came home last night to find that my little H.arizonensis had molted again. This time completely successful. I was never able to completely remove the last molt from his tail. I did feed him injured pinheads and he ate like a little pig. It appears that his telson may be deformed...
I should have mentioned that it was WC. It was found at a new house construction site. I released him in a field near where he was caught. He seemed very happy to be released. Unfortunately now I think I want one as a keeper. Time to start checking pet stores.
Well I know nothing about them. All the information I have gathered has been from the internet, so I am really not sure if what I am reading is correct or not. But to be on the safe side I will release him. He is really cute and might be fun to keep, but I don't know if I can accomodate his...
