Alright I'm going to try my luck at finding some in the wild. I know I've asked for a lot of help but is there any specific species that I should be worried about finding.
Thanks AzJohn I will try that. Also where I live the weather is insane one day it will be to cold to go out without 2 sweaters on and then the next day will be in the 80s, but this time of year it is more on the cold side, do you think I could find scorpions around this time or should I wait?
yessir they sure are. I don't know if you keep tarantulas or not but I do and how does it compare to a p regalis, if you know.

thanks for your input because I know nothing about scorpions and that information is valuable to me
What are some scorpion species that are 3 inches or under, not dangerously venomous, and relatively easy to care for. Also I do not care if it is a bark scorpion or desert scorpion, aggressive, fast, burrowing, skittish, or anything like that, whatever is fine just as long as it meets my guidelines.
Would anybody happen to know which aphonopelma sp. is native to the midland/Odessa, Texas area? Also would anybody know where I could find a good distribution map for the aphonopelma sp. ?
