i don't know if this is allowed, but i didn't see anything about it in the rules. i have a mature female a. minatrix that i'm thinking about selling. what are they going for these days? i checked a bunch of ads, but i don't ever see them for sale. any info would be greatly appreciated...
my p.irminia just molted out as a mature male about an hour ago. i'm a bit iffy on the lending him out bit. so, if i were to sell him, about how much should i charge?
usually, that web means go away. it probably has molted, but hasn't hardened yet. when it is hungry it will venture into the open, or at least remove the webbing.
my mature female g.rosea just molted about two weeks ago, and i've had her for over two years. a lot of people thought i was kidding. it seems that species in this genus take a very long time to molt once they get older.
definitely going to molt. my p.ornata and p.rufilata do the same thing. they kind make a little trench in the substrate and build up web and dirt around it. then they lie in it for a couple of days and molt.
i don't have allergic reactions to poison ivy. i come in contact with it all the time on our property and our hunting lease. is it that unbelievable that the guy isn't affected by the stuff. as for the surely impending rebuttals i may receive from some naysayers, YES i do know what poison ivy...
yes poaching is bad! very bad! but regulated hunting can actually be good for some animals. trophy hunts are quite pricey, and the profits can be used for breeding programs as well as purchasing land for reserves. also, try to keep in mind mass urbanization kills more animals than hunting.
i'm from louisiana. i don't like bush. i'm not a hick. oil doesn't turn me on. but meat tastes real good, and i love hunting. try to keep in mind the fact that they weren't hunting endangered animals. it was a long time ago when these animals were taken. anyway, it's a really awesome trophy...
i have a 5" female p.irminia in a two foot tall enclosure. if i take her out, she tries her best to run back into it. i've had her for about a year now, and i've only handled her a couple of times. overall, she seem to be fairly docile.
