    The Beginning

Pretty much was interested in all things creepy and crawly from day one. As a 4 year old I even jumped out of a moving vehicle once to try and capture some sort of critter (think it was a grasshopper, still on of my favs.{D ). Parents then made the mistake of saying I could have what ever I...

WOW.....you know I've really just kept T's as pets, but have secretly wanted to breed them. Hate just having an animal that just sits in a tank and just gets old and dies.:( I'd love to give it a try. I've NEVER done this before, so you'll have to really guide me through what all is involved...

    Active scorps

Ok, I really like the look of B. jacksoni, but from checking around it seems that they list this species as a rather significant species, as far as it's venom, and don't recomend it for beginners....which I definitely am. Too bad they look really awsome!:wall:

    Pics of the girls

It was feeding time for her, so she was out looking for some munchies. She's usually not too bad about that as long as she doesn't feel any air currents on her, like if I accidently exhale while looking at her with the top open. The one where she's rearing up, I went to get a superworm that...

    Active scorps

Hello all, I'm very new to scorpions and would like to start working with them. I'm looking for a species that makes a good display animal. In my book all that means is that it's out and active and not necessarily big or brightly coloured. I understand scorps are nocturnal, just...

    Centipede Enclosure

Yeah mine just came from a local nursery. Mine are also getting spikes on them too....but I cut them off. I've heard they can have an exhausting affect on the plant. Mine tend to divide a lot as is, so every other year when I repot them, I usually end up with lots of offshoots. I think there...

    Advice me lads, please.

Your Stonies will probably only come out at night to feed and explore. One thing you've got to make sure is that they stay humid. These little guys will dehydrate VERY quickly. Not sure what you're using for substrate for them, but make sure it stays moist (moist....not wet...you shouldn't be...

    Centipede Enclosure

Thing you have to be careful though with Venus Flytraps is if you want them to live for a long time, you have to hibernate them. They're a temperate plant and if not given a period of decreased temp., light and moisture they'll eventually just exhaust themselves and die. I've had one growing...
