Should I help this spider out, or..?

I came out there one day, and saw that she was laying an egg sac, that was located behind her web. The next day, she had moved up to another one, that was close to where it was located, that I'm pretty sure was already there. She's been sitting on it for about 4 days now, and I'm starting to...

Ha, the Orb weaver spiders returned to my front porch. Here's some pics and videos.

Yeah, I also believe I heard that they have the strongest webs of any other spider, something about that gold silk or something (Once again, I'm only pretty sure about this)

Ha, the Orb weaver spiders returned to my front porch. Here's some pics and videos.

Pics from last year's batch: http://www.arachnoboards.com/ab/showthread.php?t=63651 A few of them are already fully grown, and all the webs contain one male and one female (I also witnessed two of them mating. Was very funny, watching the male get flicked away about 10 times before finally...

Just thought I'd post these two stories of mine, about how I got lucky and managed to raise these two amazing moths. The Luna Moth Well, many years ago, my mom pointed out to me an article about Luna Moths, and how to get one to lay eggs. Basically, it went like this: If it was a female, AND...

If I'm not mistaken, that's because of the 'gold silk' they lace their webs with, right?

My front porch is infested with gigantic 'Golden Orb-Weavers'. LOTS of pictures!

Thanks! I'm from Florida. Sadly, the parent spiders, shown in the pictures, have all died out. All I have left, are many egg sacs, and many, many, MANY, hatchlings. I'm hoping this summer they came back again. They most likely will, since they already have once before. Once they do, I'm gonna...
