    Kukulcania hibernalis interested?

Found mother load of Kuks at my mom's. Almost every web has a spider. Several fat grown ladies and various smaller ones in webs very close together. Also in her house I found several in corners on the ceiling.

    Orb Weaver id?

The first time I saw this spider was just after walking through her web with my face and wrapping the web around my head LOL. Of course the first thing I did was look for her to make sure she didn't fall in my shirt or somewhere else. Then I saw her hanging buy a small piece of the web I had...

    Hogna lenta molt question

Mine may have stayed under longer also if I had not ran her out. After not seeing her for a few weeks I was dying to see if she was still alive even though I suspected molt. Probably don't have the best housing as its just critter keeper with thin layer of coco fiber. she just piles it up...

    Hogna lenta molt question

One of my Wolf spiders I raised from a sling recently molted. I think its around 5 to 8 months old and not full grown yet (don't know how long that takes). My question is how long for them to get back to normal after molt. She will eat crickets when they get very close but still seems to...

Thanks Regal! Lots of good info. Liking these spiders so far. I haven't got to feed yet as I just got them. They look like they are pretty quick runners. Are you saying I should turn the male loose out in my screened in porch area where the big Kuk lives that I haven't been able to catch...

    spider id?

Southern House spider, Think you may be right. The web and ends of legs look like House spider. I don't see the white marks on the legs or Cephalothorax. I have had big house spiders walking the halls at night in the house so you probably are right. May leave her there doing her job...

finally found a wolf should say saved a wolf

Now that's funny on the Lycosid (mandatory) fencing. Still don't know how they got in. If you saw this pool it looks like a combination residential/prison pool. totally screened in tight to the ground screened including the top with a full chain link inside that to keep their no mannered...

finally found a wolf should say saved a wolf

I know wolf spiders are all over my yard but have been watching for one all summer with no luck. Went to my moms today and saw at least 5 drowned in the bottom of her pool. Then I saw her riding on the end of one of those tube float things. When I got a long pole and got the tube closer she...
