Cold blood is correct. It's not good practice to inbreed and I believe nature has already made its point that we shouldn't breed sibling tarantulas together by making it so that the males of an egg sac typically mature faster than the females. I've got the answer I needed from this posts...

I used superglue to seal up my A.versicolors toe when she ripped it off on the screen mesh lidnof her old cage. Worked out perfect but that worked for me.
