Can anything be done to help my B.vagans?

Oh, yes. They are both males. I learned about the tibial spurs while volunteering at a reptile store.

Can anything be done to help my B.vagans?

Both are males. Whether or not they are mature I do not know. Definitely not a temperature problem. I have an electric heater in my office all day set on a thermostat. My room is always the same temperature. This is my most recent photo of my fasting L.parahybana...

Can anything be done to help my B.vagans?

Hi I have a male B.vagans that has refused food and water for well over half a year, maybe 10-11 months, but I don't think a full year. He looks like he is just going to shrivel up and die soon. I've continuously fed him and he has a large enough water dish. Ever since his last molt...

    Mantis!

That makes me laugh - God didn't intend them to be pets. That's just an excuse not to get one. Well what else is religion for other than making excuses? I'll see you in class on Tuesday {D

    Trapdoor not eating?

Hi Ever since I got this trapdoor spider (unknown species) it has not ate any crickets I have given it. It has it's burrow made and a somewhat trapdoor looking entrance, as well as an escape exit as it looks. Why is it not eating? It has lost noticeable amount of weight since I bought it.

    Medium-large dead cricket, OK?

Hi I recently got a tiny Hadrurus arizonensis, as a freebie. I can't seem to be able to get pinhead crickets (shocking, I know). I am wondering if I could feed the scorpion medium to large sized crickets, dead. Will it still take the crickets? Is it too much for the scorpion?

    Trapdoor spider care and I.D.

Hi I recently bought a trapdoor spider. I am curious as to what the species is and how I should go about caring for it. Here is a photo of it http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/ff305/tjpetrowski/Other%20Spiders/Trapdoor%20Spider/100_6714.jpg What species is it? Based on what the...

Larave in with crickets - some questions

Hi I searched up "beetle larvae crickets" and found a thread that is pretty similar to mine. I have been finding more and more little, black larvae that grow into small, black beetles. In the thread I just read, a user posted an image of one that looked pretty close to what I am seeing...

What's up with my Tailless Whip Scorpion?

Hi 2 days ago, I noticed that my Tailless Whip Scorpion molted. However, it was stuck. Its long atenea were stuck in the molt. When it tried to run, the molt dragged around with him. I eventually got them unstuck but he still doesn't seem that well. It looks like his legs and atenea came out...

    Good starter Pede??

I think most centipedes are generally the same, in a behavioral sense. Some are just a little more or less aggressive than others, but the difference isn't huge. My first centipede was an adult subspinipes and it isn't too bad of a starter. I've never owned a polymorpha so I can't argue it as a...

Are there Latrodectus geometricus in Canada?

Hi Today I was just searching for some interesting spiders and found one near the corner of our gate. It surprisingly looked exactly like a Latrodectus geometricus. That may have simply been wishful thinking, but I heard that the L. variolus is in the Bruce Peninsula, around my house. So are...

    What species is this?

Better pics now and a new molt... any definite I.D. of this centipede? Its gotten larger and has a different colour. I assume it molted. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=641815&l=e7202&id=510547503 http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=641813&l=11a34&id=510547503...
