N. clavipes is a really beautiful spider, I had one in my bedroom about a year ago, never strayed from its web, a true webmaster as you can see in the pics:D

I'm allergic as hell to that stuff, very weird, no other allergies but a bit of that stuff and I begin weezing and itching... crickets and roaches for me ;)
Hey all,
In the last few days I've had 2 molts in my collection, both maturing into males. I've snapped a couple of shots of them, so here it goes:
Chromatopelma cyaneopubescens:
Showing me he's all male:
A bit closer:

Cyclosternum fasciatum:

hey!
Beautiful chamaeleon you have there! Only you say baby-gurl, but I'm sure I see spurs on the back claws, that would mean baby-boy! ;)

I don't know exactly what you mean by 'supervision', I can imagine if the snake is crawling around, and is followed by a 'big thing' from above, it gets stressed easily. That stuff smells nasty, I'd stay away in the wild
Beautiful pics all! I'm especially impressed by the E. cyanognathus shot of priZZ, incredible!
Here's my attempt at some marco photography, cam is a Fujifilm FinePix A210, 3,2 megapixel.
First: some brand new blondi teeth:
Eye shot of a female Poecilotheria rufilata...
Well, actually it's not really a fancy cam, it's a Fujifilm Finepix A210, 3,2 megapixels. Not really expensive, and has a good macro. And when photographing such an event I always take a lot of pics, to ensure there are always a few good ones.

That's a lot of questions ;)
I'm feeding it more than my other spiders, about 3 times a week. But still I would not call that powerfeeding. It has molted 4 times now. And 6" might be pushing it, let's keep it at 5 ;) It's really hard to estimate the length, and while 5" might seem much, it's...
Yeah, all T's have those claws, they are retractable (sp?), so you usually can't see them.
Ghost Tomb: Bought her in June, as a 1 1/2" sling, grows enormously with each molt.
Greetz!
Genus Theraposa
Hey all!
My blondi molted a week ago, and I was able to get some pretty nice pix of the happening :) It's about 5 to 6" now, enjoy!
First one: just crawled out of its skin, notice the dramatic colour change, she's almost black now!
Close-up of the hooks on the...
The gbb is about 4", nearly full grown. And the lividum is also not fully grown yet, so she should get more blue with the next molt. I wasn't aware there was such a thing as the brown colour phase (?)

Took some pics while feeding today, enjoy!

Hey all,
I know it is difficult (or impossible) to positively ID a spider from a picture, but maybe you guys can narrow it down. I was thinking it might be a Brachypelma vagans. Ideas?

Hey all,
Fed my Mexican Black a mouse yesterday, usually it grabs them by the head, but this time he grabbed the mouse on its behind, and winded around the neck, at which one eye of the mouse almost popped out, freakishly looking. Check the pics.

Joozt
