after extensive looking thru pictures i have come to realize i own a 'Haplopelma schmidti" and its very very aggressive...learn quick in this spider world lol
Update....sorta
Well i decided to finally touch the little bugger...with a dollar bill just to see how she reacts to being touched, and i barley tapped it and BOOM, she struck. I couldnt beleive how awsome it looked in a threat display tho, i dont intend to ever bother it again out side of...
I bought this well knowing it was aggressive, and im really not that concerned, but the people at the pet store who sell me my Ts wouldnt take this one out of the tank when i said i wanted it. they said its aggressive and really not worth the risk of it getting out and said it would be easier to...
I just bought a P.regalis myself as my 3rd T, and really outside of the fact its FAST, its not very aggressive at all, and would rather run then fight. I do advise a large critter keeper tank tho, if your a bit worried abot the speed. These things can MOVE so its kinda nice to not have to remove...

Theres this T i saw a while back and the thing was totally purple, i mean like the way a cobalt blue is with color, only purple, even on the carpace. whats this T and is it expensive?
Given im just taken aback by funnel webs, and an atrax is totally impossible to find, whats up with these Vietenmese funnel webs ive read about on the petbugs.com cares sheet? They look similar enough that id be happy, but i want some more info. i dont hear about them a lot really so if any one...
IF your looking for a T that gets real big, and isnt all to hard to care for, i would recomend a Salmon Pink Bird Eater. Not to hard to care for really, and it was my second T, my first being the other spider i would recomend, a B. Smithi or Mexican red knee as a petstore would call it. Really...
sorry, i actually did try to feed her, once on the day i got her, then another a few days later. If i may ask, i want to feed this T Fuzzy mice, as in the mini looking mouses with hair on them. would 1-2 a week be suffice for her? I couldnt fathom spending more money on crix then i do already. I...
