    worms?

Definitely sounds like nematodes. Throw out anything that has touched it and contaminated so the rest of your collection will be safe. I'm sorry this happened to your pedeling. Not fun.

    Help with Ethmostigmus trigonopodus

I would personally keep it in the habitat set up you have and maybe consider getting another species that stays out more. My S. heros almost never burrows so it's out 99% of the time. I just got a Rhysida longipes and it comes out in the evening. But my polymorpha is never seen. It's happy that...

    Had to share...

High five for centipede tattoos! I just got my polymorpha tattooed on my arm last week haha! Not sure if your cutie will be able to molt and get rid of the condition. If that is the case I would recommend power feeding to encourage a faster molt and maybe it will either improve or pass. Again...

I can't decide which critters to get!

I agree with option one. They are hardier and I think it's fun for you to get a variety of very different species.

    Scolopendra polymorpha Substrate Preference

You can either mix it with some dry or you can leave it. Just make sure you don't have any mold growing. You'd see some white stuff in the moist substrate if you had any. I've also taken my tongs and just moved the substrate around and that helps a little. Centipedes don't need the amount of...

    Tonkinbolus caudulanus Millipede Spots

Thank you so much! It seems to be doing fine and living a healthy, happy life. I didn't think it was life threatening but worthy of me asking for my own knowledge.

So far I only saw one like this. I have two adults and a pedeling. I got them from Millipedes and More. I appreciate your responses.

    Tonkinbolus caudulanus Millipede Spots

The Thai Rainbows, blue and red/orange striped ones that about only about 5-6 inches. I didn't catch a picture, and I don't see them out too often. They are dark black polka dots on the head region only. It was pretty bizarre to me.

    Tonkinbolus caudulanus Millipede Spots

I saw my millipedes out two nights ago and I noticed one has black spots on its head. I'm sure I would have noticed this marking before and I have no idea what it is or means. Does anyone have this species and see a black spotting pattern?

I think my pet Vietnamese Centipede is dying? Please help

It's hard. I can tell by the way you wrote you felt at fault for this. I'm just like you, always wondering why, what I did wrong, and how I can learn from a situation. My S. polymorpha hasn't eaten since I've had it from July and I don't know what to do. It's scared of everything and just hides...
