Seeing as you're after a small(ish) OW T, I can personally reccomend Eucratoscelus pachypus, I personally find them a lot less defensive that most other African species, Pretty little things too.

It doesn't appear to be mites, the tank is a tad moist, because the peat is still drying out, yes she does have fresh water, she molted about 8-9 months ago, and i've had her for just over 9 years, since she was a 1cm sling
I don't know what is wrong with my smithi, but in short, she looks like crap, where the blond bit is on the carapace, instead of looking smooth like it usually does, it looks all ruffled and wierd, and she is dangerously thin, but she just refuses to eat, and i think there is some whitish stuff...
