    COLORATION OF SOME BABY Ts

Why is it that some of the NW slings have such beautiful colors? I have T.gigas, P. ermenia, GGB, P.pulcher, A. versicolor, and P. cambridgi and they are neat, but why so colorful? It would seem they would be easier to see by predators.

Hi guys my deli container with a young half inch chaco fell from my 3 feet tall table what will ido?

I would say it most likely will be fine. I went to a show Sunday and my grand daughter bought me a A. versicolor sling, I checked web sites to see what care was required and most said that they jumped if disturbed. It was about 1" or so and was in a small vial so I set up another enclosure, as I...

    A geniculata sling.

I have 2 A. geniculatas; about 3.5 years old and they probably have 2 more moults to go before they're full grown. They could be females as females take longer to mature. I had a B. bohmei I thought was a girl it moulted into a male. Feed crickets with their heads crushed if they appear too...

Is my new T doing okay?

I was just on another forum + the light question came up, I had 50 or so different species in my garage for years OW + NW with no lights. The only time there was light is when I was feeding or checking on my T's, So I say no light is needed { it keeps your electric bill down so you could afford...

    OBTs, cousins?

IMHO OBT's [at least mine are no where as bad as NW with their hair flicking] as OW If you keep in your mind that an OW can will bite under certain conditions you'll have no problems with OW's. Most of my NWs threaten whenever I handled their enclosures. T hair is itchy!

    Another noobie Avic thread...

My avic is in a KK + I was misting every day. One day I saw it with a clump of substrate in it's mouth. I went to a reptile show the next day + I spoke to a couple of T people + told them what was going on + they both said the same thing, it was sucking water out of the clump. I put a bottle cap...
