Doesn't seem too out of line i keep my T's both OW and NW in the same room with an oil filled radiator and my temps are about the same as yours and everyone is alive and kicking. It's currently 8 degrees outside and it's 77 in the "kids" room.
She will find/make her own burrow no assistance needed :)
If she is out in the open huddled in a ball she may be cold what ambient temperatures do you have her in?
Ok i read through all 6 pages of this and i have the solution. I own two species that are more docile than an old overweight golden retriever, they completely lack venom, fangs or urticating hairs and are far larger than any other common T in the hobby.
Grammostola Polyesterium
Brachypelma...
I care greatly for all my T's same as my other pets like the dog, snakes, birds and even the miserable  cats. I even look out for the random spiders i find around the house or at work (I move them somewhere out of the way so they will be safe)
I gave up on water dishes a long time ago they either wind up buried/webbed over or dragged into their hide. When i offer water i saturate a small corner of the cage as far from the T's hide as possible and spray the corner above the wet spot and they figure it out just fine.
H.Maculata is awesome I have a lil sling and he is a hoot!, S.Calceatum is stunning especially the iridescent colors on the underside of it's legs and I picked up two C.Darlingi at the Steel City expo last weekend one is very laid back and the other is all threat displays and hissing :)
L.Klugi might be an option as they are a bit more colorful than the L.Parahybana and as recommended the Acanthoscurria geniculata is a solid choice!
Brachypelma Albiceps are also great looking T's.
I had arachnophobia and like anytime i have an irrational fear of something i punch "it" right in the mouth (figuratively speaking) by tackling it head on. I now have 30 T's ranging from A. Avic to S. Calceatum and everything in between like pokies and obt's.
I started with a G.Rosea/Porteri or...
Sloppy parenting will always be the issue regardless of whatever punishment is used be it time outs or spanking. There are children who are mature beyond their age who do respond to reasoned discussion and a good parent will recognize that, other kids are just rambunctious and a physical...
I agree with Viper use the bag transfer method (just do a search on the forums for it) I have 4 obt's and while they are gorgeous they also are very fast and very mean. I keep mine in dry conditions with water dishes and temps between 75 and 85 Fahrenheit and they are growing like little orange...
Oh it did sound comical especially the nom nom song but as someone who has been a store manager in the past and had to deal with situations that went from bad to worse I have "No sense of humor that i'm aware of" (to borrow from the film Men in Black) ;)
If anything this whole thing...
Not really viable but it is an interesting idea and the fact that you are thinking and developing ideas is great! it's how some people "dream things that never were and say why not".
