I have kids with similar ages, two teenagers a 5 year old and a 2 year old.
They all love our Pug. Sturdy enough to handle the abuse and gentle enough with my 2 year old who absolutely loves him.
Calm demeanor, rarely barks.
I was at a reptile show a couple of weeks back, where they had 3/4 inch p metallica's for just $79. Picked up a p rufilata for $25. Still kicking myself for not picking up the Metallica.
