UPDATE: I bought terro yesterday and put them everywhere. Last night around midnight I checked up on it and saw a whole bunch of ants feasting on the traps. This morning they're all gone! Or at least it seems like it at the moment. All the terro traps are still half full, so Im just going to...
I just got done cleaning out my roach bins. I found ants marching in and out, not a lot..But I wanted to take care of it before it gets worse.

@shawno821 Yes, they're the black ants. I just looked up Terro, thats the poison trap i was talking about but I wasn't sure if it actually works lol Have you tried using it yourself?

i agree with MrCrackerpants, with luck you can get really good deals at a LPS..some spiders i got for cheap was an AF GBB for $80, 7 inch AF P.regalis for also $80, and 2 AF H. lividum for $25 each..

what species of tarantulas do you have? idk, but i'll tell you this, when i first started keeping T's i thought i was immune to hairs, after like 6 months or so i felt like i was getting more and more sensitive to them..a few months ago, i started wearing gloves when i work with my terrestrials...
