I wouldn't, leaf insect look, well like a leaf which the giant spiny will assume it is. Ghost of the trees, or something like that is a great book by Orin on this subject.

They are one of the simpler mantis to breed, as they have a huge tolerance for each other. Sell them is a little tricky, technically they are not allowed to be sold or otherwise is the US. That apllies to any non native mantis. Hope that helps.
I can't wait to see their adult colors. I was surprised to read in this thread that they are arboreal, I'm looking forward to watching it do some climbing once I find a suitable branch
