    Genus Aphonopelma

I bought this as an Aphonopelma chalcodes male. Definitely a mature female after this last molt.

    Dolomedes question.

I have a WC Dolomedes species from Virginia that had an eggsac that she was toting around when she was given to me. I finally setup her enclosure, but now that she's in there, I don't see the sac anymore. Anywhere. I know they make nursery webs for the babies but I don't immediately see it...

    Question on T "beginner" status?

Temperament on both is variable, in my experience. The following is based on my experience and observations: A versicolor are super chill as slings and juveniles. Adult females tend to be defensive, but not chase-you-out aggressive. They just throw a threat display and occasionally strike...

    Brachypelma albiceps or albopilosum?

Ah yes. That was a mistype on my part. Thanks.

    Brachypelma albiceps or albopilosum?

Hi guys. This is a recurring issue I've had with B albiceps slings that I purchased from an online seller in June of last year. I kept one for myself and sold a couple to other vendors. The problem has been with their identification. Doubt that they are B albiceps has been expressed by all...

I assumed I was ordering an Avic avic, but I doubt it by the looks. Need a proper ID, sorry for the poor quality in the pics. Photos show the legs, the abdomen (the red flag) and the underside. Specimen is currently 2.50-2.75".

    Avicularia sp. aurora

I've got nothing from M Scheller and arachnidsrva's slings never came in. :(

    Avicularia sp. aurora

Does anyone have pics of these as adults and/or slings? I've got a seller that's bringing some in and I want to know what it will look like, but of course Google Images is being useless, showing me A avics and versicolors. I'm assuming they're basic Avic care and typical Avic temperament, so...

    C. cyaneopubescens (GBB) 2" to 2.5" molt

I may be jumping the gun here, but I think I'm looking at a male. Can it be confirmed or do I need to wait for another molt to be sure?

    Introduce Yourself

Hello, I'm Bill. I stumble in here through a lot of Google inquiries about my T's, so I figured it would be worth participating. Maybe I can learn a thing or two. I'm relatively new to the hobby. About one year in now with five T's, three of which are slings. My primary seller is...
