we don't really have big breeders sadly(or hopefully), biggest one moved to Germany year and a half ago, whats left is few of us that breeds for hobby in small scale

Cricks are not strong enough to make holes in the web, this is all T's doing. They often put substrate on their webs and it's called "dirt curtains" in hobby term.
what kind of jelly we are you talking about? i though only jelly used in invert feed is water jelly/crystals which isn't really needed but to each his own i guess. Is yours something different?
Lats, i use them for EVERYTING except 6"+ spiders. Nothing refuses them. Easy to breed, eat everything i put in their bin, easy to sell the excess amounts, no smell. I can't think of most perfect food than them
