This article doesn't present that much new information, am I correct? We already know that the old world species have more potent venom, probably to compensate for a lack of urticating hairs and maybe different prey species? Either way, figured I would share...
I've seen some great footage with the DSLRs.
Plus instead of having to deal with crappy digital zoom, you can use all the lenses you take pictures of, such as a telephoto lens or a fisheye. Why would you want to spend so much buying two things, when one is just as good! All you really need is...
After just getting into the hobby, I can say that the camera doesn't have as much to do with good photos as you would think.
I'm using a 7 year old, 8 megapixel(misleading number) used canon 300d for 250 dollars.
The only reason I wish I had gotten a more expensive and newer camera, is the...

Thanks!

It's amazing what goes on at such a small...
So just picked up this fat little twirp at a reptile show. It's 2.5" and fat as a grape.
So just a couple of quick questions.
Will it take a really long time to reach full size or are these guys really slow growers?
Does it being fat as a house imply that he is going to molt? It dug a...
Not hating on my dad. He just doesn't believe me...
I know there is a chance of falling and rupturing, I was just worried about her splitting at the seams {D
Thanks for the quick replies! I'll get photos soon.
So, my Salmon pink, over the course of about 4 years has finally achieved some size. However, now that I am at college, my dad tends to overfeed my tarantulas because he thinks they need to eat very often.
She has gotten pretty fat, and I'm pretty afraid she could just rupture from eating too...
