If you are not planing on handling it, I think something like a GBB would be interesting and possibly bring more interest from the students as they have the potential to build some amazing webs and are very nice to look at. But then again they are a lot more expensive now. Really its up to you ...
If you want an id you should post a much clearer picture. Care is generally the same for all centipedes however some species prefer it much drier then others etc.

I'm surprised not many keepers have tiger beetles, specifically those in the Cicindela genus. I have 4 in a tub with sand mixed with dirt as well as a heat lamp on top since they apparently like basking on the rock. Any reason these aren't common at all in the hobby? They come in alot of colors...
It was rounder towards the end of the spike. I didnt really check if it was round or smooth. as i threw it out almost immediately

One of my wolf spiders i have, was acting strange and moving around weirdly. Today i found him dead with a long red looking thing out of his back almost like a horn it was about an inch long. The spider did not die in a death curl either. I have thrown out the container and the spider to risk...
Hey i have recently gotten into true spiders. I have a few huntsman and african wandering spiders. I recently found out about this small species of huntsman occuring in northern Europe. The scientific name is Micrommata virescent. Anyone keeping these? if so i would love some photos
