give it time. the color should come in with age. this was my AF when I bought her. she molted 8/2011 and is 3 times bigger (and years older) than your little guy. this was taken with a crappy cell phone camera.

my AF chaco hasnt molted since 08/2011. the time span between molts for adult Ts is much greater than that of slings.
