Ya basically grab it with tongs and just oops squished it and then drop it in and leave alone for a got 15+ hours then go take a look and see if ya little guy/ or girl ate it
only one 2 big tips
First make sure always super humid they need tons of humidy always. And second the urticirating hairs on this family is by far one of the worst found in new world species so try to avoid being kicked by them by any way possible
I have one I got half inch sized and molted once in like 7 months I keep average temp and feed every 2 weeks I just choose to let her slow grow enjoy the time you have with hher/ him don't rush it
I know after any shed snake skin is so sensitive so might just want to be left alone and feeding is all veriable but every 5 days to most breeders seem like power feeding and most ppl only do it to get weight up right before breeding I would do 5 day 7 days because it has proven to shorten life...
Well I'd say leave alone for up to 10 days sounds like pre shed and you should be changing feeding from 5 day then 7 days then 5 days then 7 days btw the way your doing is consider power feeding. If snake is over 2-3 feet+ in length I'd do it ever 10-14 days
I've kinda long but learned from veterans and have met people who want to pull random males together and fight them and other dumb shit like that I actually told em if I found out they did I'd take all the animals and let all local pet shops and dealers locally know who they were and not to sell...
Rump size doesn't mean anything you can try to get a better pic of under side but a more positive sexingb would be a molt inside the rump pic looks like your gbb is due for molt soon enough
Not saying it is but honestly believe going into molt and at that size can take awhile a few of mine at that size didn't eat for almost 2 months just kept room warm 75 and kept dark with keeping then moist and they molted and started chowing down don't try to feed no more just honestly spray...
Nah get the cricket out and should be fine and I've done it right before molt you should be good but it's worth getting out since it can hurt the tarantula and sounds like premolars but might take 2 weeks maybe even a month tell it molts
