Got it really cheap at an expo. Suspect male but I think he’s beautiful anyways. Made a closed of burrow straight away. Hope he’s going to molt and doesn’t ruin his molt like he’s been doing with his previous owner.

After it molted it’s been out and about all the time. It doesn’t bolt down in her burrow. But has given me a threat posture instead (only once though). Fun to feed because it’s crazy. It’s nice that I get to see it because I was expecting it to hide a lot more.

@Ungoliant thanks for the tip but I don’t use plastic plants in my terrarium but I might try to find some hardy plants for her but she’s always been a good eater and calm the way she is now. Just weird with the webbing. First avicularia I’ve had as well. The only arboreal I’ve had before her is...

Rehoused it, but in stead of poking it out I left the vial in the box... left it over night. It made a burrow under the glass.. well.. we’ll see if he moves house..

@GreenGoblin its not A. metallica anymore but A. avicularia morf 6 mine is probably a morf 6 aswell even though my husband bought her for me as A. Avicularia thinking we would receive m1 or whatever the “original” is. I was pleasantly surprised to say the least.
